How to judge the quality of chip capacitors
There are four main methods for measuring the quality of chip capacitance, which are composed of a small part of chip capacitance. The circuit measurement method of chip capacitance is briefly discussed.
Method 1: The resistance value of the general chip capacitor is infinite. Replace it with an abnormal resistance value. The capacity becomes smaller and the multimeter cannot be measured. Replace it directly.
Method 2: The safe method is to use the two poles of the multimeter to ground and the other needle to measure the two ends of the capacitor, and react to the short circuit respectively.
Method 3: If the chip capacitance is short-circuited, it can be judged by online measurement with a multimeter. If the circuit is open, because the capacitance is too small to be measured with a multimeter, you can use a pen to connect the 220V live wire, put the pin of the chip capacitor on the cap, and check whether the neon bulb is shining and the luminous capacitance is good. Otherwise, disconnect the circuit. 220V voltage, but not in the board experiment.
Method 4: The resistance value is infinite, the resistance value is zero call difference, and other values should have some small changes.
The method of measuring patch capacitance with a multimeter is as follows:
1. The multimeter is also adjusted to the appropriate ohm gear. The principle of selecting shift is: 1μF capacitance is 20K, 1-100μF capacitance is 2K, μF size is greater than 100, and μF capacity is 200.
2. To determine the polarity, first adjust the multimeter to 100 or 1000 ohms. Assume that the pole is positive, connect the black pen to it, and the red pen to the other pole, write down the resistance value, and then discharge the capacitor, that is, make the two poles contact, and then replace it. The meter measures resistance, and the larger value of the black pen is the positive capacitance.
3. Connect the red pen of the multimeter to the positive pole of the capacitor and the black pen to the negative pole of the capacitor. If the display slowly increases from 0 and finally displays the overflow symbol 1, the capacitance is normal.
