New ultra-long-life aluminum capacitor are available

Recently, the stock market VSH launched a new series of screw terminal power aluminum capacitor 104PHL-ST. It has a service life of up to 5000 hours at +105°C, a rated ripple current of up to 34.8A, and 11 external dimensions from 35mmx60mm to 90mmx220mm.

The cylindrical aluminum housing is insulated from the blue sleeve and pressure reducing device in the sealing disc. In the large size of 90mmx220mm, 104PHL-ST capacitor have high capacitance/voltage combinations including 6800μF, 450V and 33000μF, 200V. The device adopts 8mmM5 high terminal or 13mmM6 low terminal. The capacitor complies with the RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC and is available in standard or bolt-nut versions.

The 104PHL-ST device is a polarized aluminum electrolytic capacitor using non-solid electrolyte, which is very suitable for DC bus capacitor in high-power switching converters and energy storage in pulse power applications. End products include transportation, medical and industrial equipment, UPS equipment, welding equipment, single-phase and three-phase motor control, and inverters for solar cells and wind generators.
