What is the difference between smd capacitor and electrolytic capacitor?

The same as AC resistance DC, storage/release of charge, these are the common characteristics of the two capacitor.

The difference between the two capacitor is:

1. SMD capacitor: most will implement the form of SMD packaging

              Divided into non-polar/polar capacitor

              Small size/capacity, high accuracy

              In case of low and low frequency filtering, consider first.

              Performance and temperature change accordingly, and there will be major changes

  2. Electrolytic capacitor: it belongs to the classification of capacitor properties

               Electrolyte is used inside

               There will be explosion-proof tanks in the top part

               Usually there is a polar capacitor

               Large size/capacity and many kinds.

               In case of low-IF filtering, consider first.

               The temperature characteristic is very good.
