The meaning and function of SMD power inductors

Chip power inductors, this type of chip inductors is also called power inductors, high current inductors. SMD inductance is an attribute of closed loop. When the coil of the chip inductor passes current, the chip inductor forms a magnetic field induction in the coil, and the magnetic field induction generates an induced current to resist the current passing through the coil.

The role of patch power inductors

This is a simple way of saying that it can isolate and filter the AC signal, or form a resonance circuit with capacitors, resistors, etc., to tune and select the frequency inductance; inductance coils and capacitors can be connected in parallel to form an LC tuning circuit. Any current of the chip inductor in the circuit will generate a magnetic field, and the magnetic flux of the magnetic field will act on the circuit.

When the current passing through the chip inductor changes, the DC voltage potential generated in the chip inductor will prevent the current from changing. When the current through the inductor increases, the self-induced electromotive force generated by the inductor is opposite to the direction of the current. When the current through the inductor decreases, the self-induced electromotive force is in the same direction as the current, preventing the current from decreasing, and at the same time releasing the stored energy to compensate for the current decrease. The direction of the current is opposite, preventing the increase of the current, and at the same time converting a part of the electric energy into the magnetic field and storing it in the inductor; therefore, after the inductance filtering, not only the pulsation of the load current and voltage is reduced, the waveform becomes smooth, and the rectifier diode is turned on. The angle increases.
