Working parameters and purchase of chip resistors
SMD resistors are one of the most widely used components on circuit boards, with a rectangular shape and a black shape. Resistor bodies are generally marked with white numbers. The basic parameters of SMD resistors include nominal resistance, rated power, error level, high working voltage, temperature coefficient, and so on. We only need to pay attention to the two parameters of rated power resistance and rated power.
What should I pay attention to when buying chip resistors?
1. According to the specific requirements of the circuit and the technical specifications of the electronic equipment, select the type and error level of the resistance.
2. In order to extend the service life of the equipment and improve the reliability of the equipment, the rated power should be 1.5-2 times the actual power consumption. Before installation, the resistance should be measured and checked.
3. When assembling electronic instruments, if a non-color ring resistor is used, the nominal value of the resistor should be marked upward, and the marking sequence should be consistent for easy observation.
4. When welding resistance, the residence time of the brazing iron should not be too long. If the circuit needs parallel or series resistance to obtain the required resistance value, it is necessary to consider its rated power. When the resistance value is connected in series or parallel, the rated power is equal to the sum of the rated power of each resistor. When the resistance value is different, the rated power depends on the high resistance value resistor. When connected in parallel, it depends on the resistance of low resistance value and can be applied only after calculation.
