(WXYZ)—The Michigan Liquor Control Commission suspended alcohol licenses and licenses for businesses in the state of mountain. Pleasant, Plymouth and Bitely.
These companies have repeatedly violated current public health regulations, including: allowing non-residential indoor gatherings; providing indoor dining; exceeding outdoor dining restrictions and failing to provide masks for staff and customers.
Since September 2020, MLCC has suspended the alcohol licenses of a total of 37 companies due to violations of public health orders.

On January 15, 2021, the Commissioner of MLCC ordered the suspension of Bitely Tavern's liquor licenses and permits at 2384 W, Bitely Main Street. Specifically, the committee issued
Class C and specially designated merchant licenses as well as Sunday sales (PM), outdoor services, dance and special purpose licenses. The licensee was originally scheduled to appear in court before an administrative law judge on January 22, 2021, and conduct a virtual hearing through Zoom to determine whether the summary procedure should be suspended or other fines and fines should be imposed.
Licensees are strictly prohibited from holding MDHHS gatherings and indoor gatherings as defined by the mask order in places permitted by them. They must also comply with the regulations on outdoor dining in the MDHHS order.
