(MENAFN-New Yorker Electronics) Northville, New Jersey, USA-New Yorker Electronics announced the release of Exxelia's new 253P series wound and filled high-temperature PTFE film capacitors. PTFE capacitors are the most stable 200°C film capacitors on the market, their stability is less than 2.5%, and the capacitance range from 250VDC to 800VDC is 0.22μF to 1μF.

At extreme temperatures (200°C), it provides the lowest loss characteristics of all thin film technologies, less than 0.1%, and has an excellent service life. This series of products has excellent anti-vibration, anti-shock and anti-overvoltage performance, very suitable for oil and gas applications as well as national defense and civil aviation industries. It is made in the United States and is strong and lightweight.

These non-inductively wound PTFE metallized polymer film capacitors are available through New Yorker Electronics in a voltage range of 250VDC to 800VDC and a capacitance range of 0.22μF to 1μF. They have standard tolerances of ±10% and ±5%, and work in a temperature range of -55°C to 200°C.

These wrapped and filled capacitors consist of a non-inductively wound PTFE metallized polymer film wrapped with flame retardant tape and filled with high temperature resin ends. For the lead material of PTFE less than 600V, PTFE uses insulated silver-stranded copper wire. For leads greater than 600V, use MIL-W-16878/4 (E type) wire. It can withstand five pounds of pulling force on the guide shaft.

PTFE is the only membrane that can maintain its performance in the temperature range from low to 200°C, so it is suitable for high temperature injector blockers and stop injector applications. Polystyrene (PS) capacitors are very suitable for precision capacitors for time constant and filter applications in the aerospace, defense, railway, telecommunications and medical fields.
